Generation to Generation Statement of Intent
and Chemicals Policy

As a company compact signer for the Campaign for Safe Cosmetics, we abide by their standards of reporting such as:

“The Compact for Global Production of Safe Health & Beauty Products requires public reporting on progress to meet the goals of compliance with the EU Cosmetics Directive…

Full implementation of the Compact should include a statement of intent to continue the process of monitoring ingredients for potential health hazards. Implementation should also include a commitment to transparency to consumers.”

We started our company “Generation to Generation, LLC Pregnancy Products” with the act of cross referencing all raw ingredients in our formulations with the Skin Deep database,  www.cosmeticsdatabase.com. In this research process, we were able to identify how our ingredients were ranked for safety. We then hired two independent laboratories (AMA Labs, and Intertek Labs, - which not do not test on animals) to conduct a wide variety of safety tests. Among those tests was also a Human Repeat Insult Patch Test, to validate the safety of our products. We are proud of all of our results, and are deeply dedicated to our commitment to transparency to our customers. Our testing will be on an ongoing basis, and will be reported accordingly. Material Safety Data Sheets, and testing results on all our products are available on our website.

We also hire consultants to advise on EU regulations, since we are in dossier process for EU approval for international sales. We also have International Cosmetics Regulatory Specialists, LLC, who advise us as well. Our head chemist is an Authorized Safety Assessor for the European Union’s Directives for Cosmetics ( European EC Directive 76/768/EEC, and advises on any changes in EU law. If an ingredient he has formulated should ever come into question, we will remove it and reformulate immediately. Thus, we have a plan we call "Ongoing Ingredient Safety Plan for Evaluation and Action" in place.
  
All of our ingredients meet EU standards, and are scored in the Skin Deep Database. Our plan includes ongoing and continuous daily research from the Skin Deep Database, our company regulatory officers, chemists from three cruelty-free laboratories, and outside hired consultants. This is our policy on chemicals. Our heart and soul is the safety and wellbeing of Mother and the baby growing inside her. As a Mother myself, and the Co-Owner and Founder of Generation to Generation Pregnancy Products, I am dedicated to safety and company values of truth and wellbeing.  If scientific data and reports change with the times, so will we. That is our promise. We have spent two years of pure research to identify the best ingredients for the best results for cosmetics safety, beauty, and a new frontier of customer awareness of safe pregnancy beauty products.  Our formulations, which are owned and protected by EL ERMAN, have the advantage of first hand knowledge of the European EC Directive 76/768/EEC most recent activity, since our head chemist is an Authorized Safety Assessor for Cosmetics. This is a very special feature of our company that we are proud of.  

Our ingredients are listed on our website, and we are available any time to answer any questions about particular ingredients you may have.   We also encourage you to use the Skin Deep database,  www.cosmeticsdatabase.com, for additional resources and information on specific ingredients.  Our personal and company goal is assist in expanding general awareness of what is safe, and what is best avoided, based on the most recent International scientific data. Times are changing, and pregnant women are too. The cosmetics industry can and is changing for the better, as the pregnant consumer increasingly expects safety from the beauty products. It is the belief of our company, and who we are as Women and Mothers, that there is no need to sacrifice safety for luxury body care or beauty products.
